A couple of Empire militia torsos, Empire xbow arms, Bretonnian heads and Imperial guard legs with some other bits:

Great posing conversions Maxxev!  I'm going to remember that one.

Last conversion completed is for my Orc Blood Bowl team that I'll be taking to the West Coast Quake. It's in Las Vegas so everyone gets a zombie Elvis Impersonator for their team, but I felt Orcs would have their own, so I made an Orc Elvis...

Painted:

Bit of process, background and goofiness for it:

A conversion of Andreas' minis Ithandir (32mm) to a more ranger-like setup and a much smaller cloak. Plus I hated the wraparound cloak on the original. It's beautifully sculpted, but makes the figure look terrible when viewed at any angle other than directly opposite the cloak flourish.

Cross-posting from my minis thread: A conversion of a Willy-Miniatures blood bowl/elfball figure for use in conventional fantasy.

That shoulder plate is the first thing I've ever really fully sculpted in green stuff!

My Saxon monk, to go with my church I produced earlier.

Not a major bit of modelling work, but I'm more than happy with the result.
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

Hi everyone,

These are the first conversions I've made following Paul's method. Thanks Paul!

http://paulsbods.blogspot.com.es/2010/11/head-swops.html

Miniatures are from Caesar undeads set, One of Esci's barbarians and one of Robin Hood's companions from Airfix.

Cheers

Quite like this one. Is that the sword from Saint Celestine? ... and I really dig the chick  ;D
Any chance of a detailed pic of the conversion (a.ka. bigger pic)?

Thanks!

I know it's from a Sisters of Battle figure, but I'm not sure which one. It was a bit bigger than I wanted (I'm more typically a fan of the Tre-Manor Red-Box type sculpts), but she already has big hair, and big, well...  ;)

The figure's supposed to be a big boisterous Amazon, so I think casting sobriety to the winds was fine this time anyway.  :D

I'm not sure which sister the swordarm came from originally, because I just picked it up as a loose bit. She's painted now, so I'll post up larger pics soon. I just need to base her.

EDIT: Okay a Google search shows St. Celestine's sword has a wreath/bouquet of roses on it. So, no.
