I will do more sketches today for upgrades... It's gonna be tough!

As for basing, no idea for now! I'm not even sure they'll be im the same team of the main battle tanks. For now it's mostly a bunch of different designs!

Some more pics of the beds (i've printed a second one!) and of the unassembled robot.

That's a vitruvian robot:

Looks like we've got heavy artillery, rockets and chainsaws. Not sure about that last one, but it was fun to sculpt! :D

As always, C&C welcome!

Thanks! That was one of my goals, and i think that part is a success! :)

at everyone? Ideas for a name? I'd like some interesting acronym (which has a meaning) or just a nice name!

Thanks,
Jack

I've never really considered 6mm Sci-Fi, but seeing what you are doing it's very tempting to take the plunge.

Happy to be of inspiration! :D

Printers work well for this scale (better than with 15mm or 28mm), and metal is reasonably cheap too! :D

Very nice 3d work my friend.
Love the way you grouped them in the print job.

Names? How about .....

JACK - Jackal or SCAR - Scarafaggio ( bug ) + numbers to denote models would sound nice.

Wonder how they would look next to  15mm mini?

And all the best to all for Christmas, may you have peace & health.

Keep it up

Thank you! :) The print bed is small, i had to do some tetris. Of course it'd be more efficient to print only legs in one bed, then only bodies and so forth. We'll see. :)

Jack would be a bit self-referenced (i'm jack!), scar could work. Maybe not enough buggy for that? Numbers - definitely a good option!
I'll try to take a 15mm shot, although i'd print it at 250% for that purpose instead!

Likewise, all the best to y'all!!

Jack

You go by many names  ;)
I was thinking about the armour plates that's why Scarafaggio
or perhaps Testudo/ testudine. You can also consider doing some
With large rectangular shields.

Wow that's a lot.
That would be great. Getting the feel from a picture of the
Mini size would be nice.

Thanks

Here is the 15mm comparison shot! :)

While i was at it, i did take a shot of the 15mm APC (or IFV?) that i upscaled 250% for 15mm figures too. It might be a bit underdetailed, but it's definitely good!

As for the naming, it might be fun to have a range of names of animals all from the same geographic areas.
Like marsupials (Wombat, Quokka, Wallaby, and so forth), or crostaceans!

C&C welcome, and happy christmas to you too!
Jack

Thanks for the comparison pic.

The vehicle looks nice & they are all ideal for 15mm also
Lack of detail is not a big deal at that scale.

Naming conventions depend on where you plan the users
to be from.. for e.g. their culture, language etc. Or general shape vehicle.

Keep it up

...and a brand new bot (a smaller recon one) is done and printed!

Pretty happy with this one, and fun to have as a sidekick of the bigger ones!

Cheers,
Jack

Better cuteness in pictures now!

Lightly armoured, mostly recon and scouting, smaller profile for enemy weapons. And unbereably cute!

Cheers,
Jack
