Some very nice work my friend,
Have you tried to scale the roots to 15/18mm scale ? I think they would be great as scout mecha.

Thanks for sharing

Scales with robot have relatively little meaning. But i upscaled them 160% (see the pages before this one) and they work pretty well for 28mm too! For 15mm, the robots at 100% work pretty darn well. probably not for "manned" machines, but as big tough 4-meters-tall robots they work pretty great! :)

More pics VERY soon, btw!

Yay, the robots are finally painted! :)

Here some group shots:

And close ups. I decided to equip those to match Epic's loadouts... and we got
---A BARON

-- THREE KNIGHTS PALADIN

-- THREE KNIGHTS ERRANT

Thanks guys! Pretty happy with the photos. The robots are going live tomorrow for 12$ on MMF, and with some extra weapons in a separate pack out for free! Planning to release two other versions of the robots too, as soon as I find the inspiration for that! :)

Strangely, the robots didn't sell at all. Compared to all the other stuff, they're doing underwhelmingly bad. Ideas on how that's the case? I realize I might like them too much, being a vanity project of mine I worked on for quite a long time. Yet --- nearly zero responses.

But --- on a lighter note: painted shanties!! Shots below:

Once again, a link to the shanties: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-battlefields-of-tomorrow-shanty-town-134864

C&C welcome, and feel free to share the links around!

I like the robot designs a lot (and pretty well everything else you’ve posted here) but I don’t have a 3D printer. There might be a service locally where I could get them done, but I haven’t looked into it. I wonder if maybe a lot of other war gamers are in a similar situation in relation to 3D printing technology and don’t have easy access yet. Give it a couple years and that will change, though!

That's a very common situation, true, BUT I'm comparing the results of this set with the others i have on the store, which are selling pretty well instead. It could be the period (upcoming US elections, new lockdown coming to most countries), the theme (cool robots, there are already around) or the target (epic players want to play with canon setting, battletech players have free stl options out there already)... I don't know, really. But feels weird.

ANYWAYS - here's a sneak pic of the next thing coming:

Cheers,
Jack

Love this. If I had a printer... really like the island. I would love a little archipelago like that.

I've been thinking of waterworld games as well with stuff like this, might be better suited to do that in 20mm with gaslands rules though.
3d designer, sculptor and printer, at your service!

Hah! Well, the island thing is scratchbuilt! You can always add some resin terrain to it! :P
And as mentione above, GameCraft will sell the resin copies of the shanties asap!

It would pretty badass to use Epic rules for naval action. Except the infantry would look dumb. :D
