The spaced armour doubling as storage (often for something in bulk that can be sacrificed, like water or oil) covering the tracks is very modern and keen. Good eye for adding something like that.

EDIT: The earliest versions of this were just a long rack of jerrycans covering the tank tracks. In the late 60's I think? Some modern tanks have actual dedicated track protection compartments there too (reactive armour, etc.)

Oh i see! Yeah - my tanks lingo is not excellent, but i've got quite a lot of reference pictures, and some stuff just makes sense!

So.. i'm building up the faction, and the infantry is turning out to look awesomely cute, and i think pretty badass too.



Now i've got another 60-something troops to paint, plus the bots and vehicles. Ideally i will use most of it as decoration on bots bases. It is just aesthetic, but isn't it all anyways?

The small robots are made entirely on sketchup (which i used since forever, so i'm very fast with) but i generally mix blender and sketchup depending on the components to be done.

Really really happy of the result with those.



The infantry on the bse is pretty useful to give a sense of scale, which is very important especially with robots.
