That’s amazing! I’m pretty sure I have never seen 6mm figures inside a transport like that. It totally takes the effect to a new level!

Cheers! In truth, the not-gorgon from Vanguard Miniatures has a similar effect, but it's much smaller (as it should be).

Basing the infantry now! :)

All looks absolutely fantastic, only comment is shouldn't they debus from the rear?  I wouldn't fancy charging out of the front of a tank like that - asking for trouble!

Very good point. The rule of cool is the only explanation for this. :D

Incidentally, is there space for the pod to be magnet-mounted to the tank?

Curious as to how it all works; does the pod simply rest lightly in place or is there an actual locking like a ribbed tab? Or a soft-lock, such as a lip to prevent lateral movement but if you turn the tank upside down the pod would just fall off? The first and third could benefit from magnetization. The second I'd be concerned about wear over the long term, and I doubt any snap-in tabs would stay painted, though that may be a total-non-issue given how you don't see that.

Very cool. I feel I have missed a whole bunch of updates - but at least get the chance to see everything together!

Are you going to be selling the STLs for these?

Initially there was a super-smart "click-in" lock, but i realized that depending on the overcuring it could be tricky to remove for players. Right now it simply slides in - there's space for magnets but even without those it stays in position pretty happily, unless you literally flip the tank. :)

Yes! MMF promised us a homepage banner in sync with the release (and a store discount too, in case anyone's interested), but then they went AWOL. Right now we're waiting for a date to set the release, hopefully soon but not too soon, since i've still got stuff to paint! :D

I'm still stunned at your skill with a brush as well... I try but get nowhere close to this level with 6mm stuff.

At this point i've developed my flow, which mostly includes washes and drybrushes and zero layering whatsoever. Doesn't work for 28 (where i do layers upon layers) but for 6mm it's pretty good.

Speaking of pretty good: THE BEHEMOTH IS PAINTED! Like, finished finished!
I didn't know which pod to paint so i did paint both, and took photos in both configurations:

Gun Pod:

and Troops Pod (probably my favourite)

C&C welcome, i will try to take step-by-step pictures when i paint the smaller tanks tomorrow, I'm sure that people will ask for a tutorial anyways.
That said, I'll reward myself with a decent night of sleep.

Cheers,
Jack

This a thing of beauty. Think I favor the troop pod version too. Really like the little touch of having the troopers stationed about the deck, just really puts it over the top. You're making it awfully hard to resist building an army of these splendid models. Thanks as always for sharing.
We haul ours to kick theirs.

Thank you all! =)

Today I will work on the smaller mega-tanks, and hopefully prepare a full tutorial too!

I'm about 15 vehicles away to have the army fully done!!!
