What a great unit- that blue really pops! I imagine it's quite heavy. You may need a steel movement tray to support them!
I have a YouTube and so can you!

Beautiful work as always, but really enjoying the Dark Elves.

When did they stop being blue, anyway? I remember painting my cousins Blood Bowl team for him around 1990 and they were all blue, but then all of a sudden it just wasn't a thing anymore.

I'm also loving the Dark Elves, putting together a small allied force for my Chaos army at the moment and these are are truly inspirational  :-* :-*

I think with GW, it was around 4th/5th edition fantasy maybe?

But always been blue to me.

Though I did read alot of Rogue Trooper in 2000AD...

Just been back over the whole thread/topic from the start, amazing painting on great figures. I mostly go for the old preslotta stuff but this is quite eye opening, amazing use of blue, rust effect on steel, all sorts of amazing effects. Your undead , ghosts, wights etc are very very good colour wise. Hope to see more and I will be trying to mimic your detail (probably not well due to fat fingers syndrome). Wondering if you have ever had a go at painting the old Essex miniatures fantasy as well as Citadel. Some of them have dated, but I believe Bob Olley was at Essex and did their stuff before moving on to doing chaos dwarves etc at Citadel, and some of them are terrific. And they are pretty cheap and still available! Looking forward to seeing more of your painting of the old classic figures! Adam

My favorite of all is the dragon being attacked by 3 dwarves, they don't even have a picture on the listing which is nuts, but I think it is a minor masterpiece.

The Giak standard bearer from the 1984 C41/LW1 Lone Wolf range, who also appeared in the 'Giak Attack!' boxset the following year...

Banner painted to match a Goblin standard from the 'Beastiary' book in 2nd Edition Warhammer and one of the Arcane Amourial decals.

…and added to the Goblin unit…

They look superb: your armour finish is excellent, and the splash of red and blue really pop.
