Loving the wildlings! They're looking great grouped up en masse!

Thanks, must confess I’m pleased with the look - the good news is that it’s pretty simple to replicate, as I’ve in mind 8 bases worth of Wildlings, so c50 figures. I’ve got about another dozen Copplestone, plus some more of the CMON figures, that I’ll convert, and have ordered a box of Frostgrave Barbarians to add to my pile of sprues.

More great additions, the undead giant looks really gruesome.
 :)

Cheers, I wasn’t too sure when I started messing about with the putty, but I think it turned ok - I’ll stick up a side by side comparison with Wun Weg at some point.

Next up?

Well, I’ve still got those Boltons to get on with, a bunch of Perry’s cavalry I’m toying with making into Lannister’s, some characters, a whole load of existing figures that need rebasing to fit in with the project, oh...and a mammoth.

Finished the Bolton Pike/long spearmen

I’ve modelled them on the unit that was so devastating during the TV version of Battle of the Bastards, but with a compromise - in the episode the Boltons had a front rank with just a pavise, and then the other ranks with pikes - to represent it on the table I’ve given the front rank both pavise and pike as otherwise it wouldn’t look right on 3x2 base...I could have rotated the base around to have just a two man frontage (to facilitate a front rank with just pavise) but everything else is 3x2....either way I’m happy with the compromise.

For House Bolton, I’ve still got another 18 bowmen to finish, plus Ramsey, his dogs, some banners and ideally I’ll add another half dozen cavalry as well.

Group shot - House Bolton...so far...

That makes 95 foot, 9 mounted, a bear, a direwolf, 1 giant and a catapult painted this month...easily the most I’ve managed in such a short space of time in thirty years of gaming.

Unfortunately, after a much needed break from real life over Easter I’m back to work on Monday

An excellent looking force of Boltons! Nicely done!

Really impressive production line you had going these last couple of weeks too!

Impressive presentation all together!

Thanks - I’m (hopefully) getting some gaming mats for my birthday next month so should be able to take some decent shots of everything together.

Managed to build & paint up another dozen Unsullied this weekend, plus an officer

Group shot of the Unsullied so far

Currently in the paint queue I’ve got a whole bunch of wildlings, Boltons, undead, a small band of Mormonts and a mammoth.

Looking good! I'm really liking how the helmets have turned out especially!

How'd you build the officer, out of curiosity?

Thanks, the helmets are from the  Fireforge Byzantine sprue, with some green stuff for the face mask, and the “spike” (i know it isn’t a spike but don’t know the proper name for it) is a piece of plastic bent to shape.

The officer is a standard figure, like the others (Victrix Hypaspist) - the sword arm is from the command sprue that comes with the Victrix pack, and I’ve just slung the shield on his back, and added a helmet on top of his hand. The head is metal...is actually from one of my old Space Opera figures , and before I filed its hair off had a passing resemblance to Patrick Stewart (although I’ve squashed the nose in the process of filing the hair down, so now it looks a bit like Patrick Stewart, if he’d been punched in the face).

Great job on the Unsullied! :-*  Absolutely nailed the design from the show, which isn't one of my favorites but has grown on me significantly the longer it's been on-screen.
