I don't think I've ever painted that many miniatures in the 20 years I've been wargaming, and you've done them in 2!

That’s very kind of you to say so 

I’m in the process of moving all of the photos over to Imgur from Photobucket, so some of the early ones still need replacing to remove the PB watermark, but should have that completed shortly.

Glad you enjoyed the read through, as you can see the project keeps evolving....some might say “spiralling out of control”.

Still plenty of extra characters and forces that I’d like to add, not to mention, expanding existing forces, so should keep me occupied for a while yet

As requested, and seeing as its page 50 of my little project, here are some photos of everything so far....with the emphasis upon wide angle shots to give the overall scale, rather than individual unit photos (individual units are shown elsewhere in the thread, with an index on page 1).

I have to admit, it took longer than I thought to get everything on the table, so they are effectively “on parade” rather than set up for battle...not least because there are so many competing armies, rather than just two sides.

The nearest I could get to everything in one photo....



Each infantry unit is 24 figures, cavalry are 12 figures each.

How many figures completed now for the project?

It’s around 1300 figures (that includes c200 figures not painted by me, so just rebased)...to be honest I’m thinking of switching to square footage.... currently they take up about 9’x4’
