That was hundred years ago and lately I thought of those fatefull days of late 1918 a lot. After four years of incredible slaughter Europe returned to the negotiation table. Nearly 20 million soldiers and civilians were dead and three Empires crumbled to dust. An unimaginable change in this young century...
Now hundred years later I'm glad to see that Europe has become a better, more peaceful place. Although the last years felt uneasy we're much luckier than our ancestors were.
When I visited Tactica this year Aly Morrison and Great War Miniatures had created this special set of figures and I bought it right away. It was crystal clear to me that I would have to finish it until autumn and present it this very day.
