Sure to start some arguments, but....
« on: 02 June 2009, 03:59:39 PM »
... here is news of Wargames Factory's new Zulu sprues:

http://www.wargamesfactory.com/AnnouncementRetrieve.aspx?ID=23701

The sprues are available immediately, 6 US Dollars for a pair, making up 5 warriors. There are lots of spares on each sprue. And, they  have "wibbly" shields......

The boxed set will apparently be available soon.

I'm reserving judgement until I see painted examples, especiallly how they match up against Empress etc. Also I want to find out exactly what is in the box, as they appear to be more expensive than both British Infantry and the controversial Zombie boxes.

Hmm. I don't want any Zulus, but I like how you can buy the weapon/shield sprue separately. I may get a bunch of those, to help turn some more of my Darkest Africa generic warriors into Ngoni types. I'm almost out of Foundry Zulu-style shields.

And the weapon/shield sprues are only 2.00 USD, so seem pretty good value.

Got to stay positive for our American cousins, they seem to get upset if we don't.

Where? Surely not Warlord/Perry/Victix or another British plastics firm who only seem to be superior
