Great to see you're working on these guys again!

I must admit that mine are still untouched, but there's a good chance I will finally get a start on them once I get some of my current projects out of the way

The only Dinobot I had as a child was Slag, for which I had so save up all of my allowance for months. I too really wanted Grimlock, but when I finally had collected the required sum and made it to the toy store, they had all the Dinobots (bar Swoop, which was never sold in the Netherlands for some reason) but no Grimlock, and I remember standing in there for at least half an hour trying to decide which one I would get...

But ever since, my favourite dinosaur has been the Triceratops

Your painting looks great; it's very cartoony, and spot on for all of us old guys to get hit right in the nostalgia with each entry. Also, this thread works as a great source of inspiration for me to get to grips with my bots!

I use the BOT WAR! rules and sometime the Pulp Alley rules (especially for the SOLO option).

I painted the last of the Insecticons: Rantrox (Shrapnel).

I found on the net some free 3d print designs of Insecticon clones, then I commissioned the 3d print to a friend and painted them. I will include a 30mm round base as the other Transformers (I ordered the bases). I should commision 3-6 more of these clones and they will be fine as cannon fodder of the insecticons for play with Pulp Alley and Bot War.

Those are perfect! 

I am of mind to source transformed forms for all of mine. The autobots seemed the simplest, by finding car models in N scale, but I found it's pretty hard to actually source good approximations in that scale.

Most offerings are European or Japanese, and not American...

The Decepticons proved to be a lot easier; there are several sources of F15s in that scale, and then we're almost halfway there already

Those Insecticons are spot on too though! Can you share the source?
