The only controversy* to my mind would be calling your modern Islamic fundamentalist forces "Black October." Obviously inspired by Black September, but Black September were most certainly not Islamic fundamentalists. That's a much more modern phenomenon. They were Palestinian nationalists whose outlook was left-wing and very secular (their parent organisation Fatah were materially supported by the USSR and China, and had links with such organisations as the Baader-Meinhof Group and others) .

But hey, it's only a game of toy soldiers, so it don't really matter, and it is a cool name (which is important).

Well I've just done a search it seems it 'Battlefield Evolution' by Mongoose Publishing. Has anyone played it?

Look for "Agis" on this forum. I believe he is involved in writting rules for this system.

Rule system is quite light (which to me means the same as nice), and easily adaptable - I've used it for Star Wars mostly...
