Having been in the recreated tunnels at Cu Chi I reckon those blokes were a damn sight braver than I'll ever be. Narrow as hell, cramped, dark and generally unpleasant as well as being full of creepy crawlies* and that's without the prospect of some bugger shooting or stabbing you.

* Bats, millipedes and spiders when I visited.
