Hooray!

Alas, they aren't really suitable for Marines. Most photographs of early operations like Starlite show marines in flak jackets. Indeed flak jackets are almost the defining look of the USMC from the latter part of the Korean War through to well... now.
The other issue is their web gear. In the early years the USMC supply chain was largely able to keep up demand and so their distinctive M1961 webbing was almost universal. By 1968, they were tending to draw down on US Army stocks in theatre so you see a lot more of the M1956 equipment.
These will work for earlyish deployments of US Army infanrtry divisions so maybe the 1st, 4th and 25th. The 1st Cav and 173rd AB deployed with M16s from the outset. It might have been better to have had such troops in the standard OG107 uniforms, these were seen very early in Vietnam on ops but were used everywhere else and that would have extended the possibilities for the figures.
Still, it's nice to see some additions to the range.
