Agree with all of the above.  Stunning!   :-*

One question though - do you leave on permanent display or do you have to store away?  Just wondering as I hate building stuff then having to put it in the cupboard.

Stored away in boxes in the loft... :(
Mrs Malamute does  not like things on display ;)

Know what you mean, I am even relegated to under the stairs to paint ;)

Great terrain there, look forward to seeing it with your figure range in situ.

Amazing! Simply amazing!

I had wondered, when I first saw the pictures, if the church was perhaps a resin building, from Hovels, or such, but then I read that you had built it as well! Superb! The whole town oozes character, and the whole set-up looks very playable - lots of rooftop shenanigans, as well as hiding out in courtyards if the need arises.

Brilliant!

Your Hacienda is a great model, and you built it very quickly. :)
The town has taken me over a year to build  ::) And I am sure you don't smell ;)

Wonderful stuff ! and lovely details, they make them real ! I particularly like the big size of your buildings : they look very playable and they cry for long fire line units  : a regiment could occupy them !!!

A question, Malumute, a question!

The fountain, in the lower-left in the big picture - how did you make it? Not the water itself - I'm guessing it's some sort of water-effect resin-type thing, and it's done really nicely - but the circular shape of the thing itself. I couldn't get a close look at it, but it looks like you have a model as the statue in the fountain as well. What did you use? And could you (please, please!) get it out of its hiding place in the loft to take a close-up picture? I'd really appreciate it!

And of course, as I said before, the town is AMAZING!

What's next?

I hope you do not mind me answering your question Mulletmute (lack of)

I believe it is this one from Hovels. IRC Malamute mentioned it on another thread.

Bloody Hell.
That's damned impressive, Nick.

I'm wondering if it needs a couple of palm trees or cacti?  :D

Really looking forward to seeing this in the flesh in October.

Right - I'd better start serious work on my F&IW board, or you're going to steal the show, you b*gger!  ;) lol

Aye, that is great, Nick.

Mulletmute ??? lol

You are indeed correct. Hovels miniature and a jolly nice one it is too.

Whats next?   The Governors headquarters which will be a long building with grander two storey section with some balconies.
Some more housing, some corrals and some peasnat huts for th outlying areas.
I want to occupy a 6ftx6ft area eventually. BUt as you know its a long process....

Somebody asked where I got my inspiration for the buildings. Here is a good artists impression of the town in 1836.

Its gonna be a mighty big table when its finished(in approx 30 years time...) lol
