50 mm washers
« on: June 13, 2009, 04:04:23 PM »
I desperately need a place to buy 50 mm washers to use as bases for trees - as GW's 60 mm flat bases are now about £2.5 for THREE + postage....

I think it was Captain Blood who kindly sent me some last year, but I don't want to rely on his kindness everytime I need some oversized metal dishes...

So, if anyone could please point me to an online store selling those (and preferably also shipping to DK  ;)  ), I'd be much obliged.  :)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

We do 50mm 1.5mm laser cut ply but I've just noticed they're not listed in the shop at the moment...packs of 25 for around the £3 mark....

Ah... Do you do 60 mm, too? Better to use slightly larger bases for trees when the bases are made of a light material...

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Wise guy!  >:D   ;)

Problem solved, then - I'll just use a 40 mm washer or so on top of the plywood bse to add weight for larger trees!

Thanks, guys!

Geronimo, I'll be at your store tonight!
