Hi all
« on: 22 April 2019, 09:39:06 AM »
I've lurked long enough and finally registered in an effort to get off my butt and moving forward on my Death in the Dark Continent project. There are 110 days until the Africa Day event, by which time I aim to have a fully painted Matabele force, as well as having started both a classical Zulu and British army. I've made a start on the Chief base - just need to finish the eyes and shields

Currently reading the rulebook plus Africa Explored by Christopher Hibbert, then The African Wars by Chris Peers. Also have Zulu Dawn novel coming. Thinking about starting a new blog just for 19th Century gaming - or may use this forum as a way of charting my progress.

Anyway, that's me.

Cheers
JP

Welcome.
African 'stuff' has many uses:-
Dark Continent (as you know); Colonial; Boers; WW1; Big game hunting & Pulp,
to name but a few.
So start gathering your flora & fauna & remember to have fun.

Welcome JP - the photo isn't showing for me - but I was able to click through to Facebook.

Wishing you all the best for the event in August.
