The mantlet could stand some further work. Firstly to give it fabric like texture on the cover and secondly and more importantly, to give it that distinctive, concertina like, look. Beyond that, it's shaping up well.

Barrel and handrails will be replaced in wire, might upscale them a little too.

New hull looks to have printed fine.
Popped it off the bed and hit print again (need 2)
Will get a better look at it later.

Would that include tank riders?
Rats, I was looking for the M48A3 at Hue photograph that is on one of the recent threads.

Oh, also nice to see different types of resin or printing material, didn't know there was clear one, like on the uppermost turret.

The transparent is a pain in the arse!! It tends to bleed uv through so needs lots of clean up! It also goes very yellow very quickly. I was hoping to print clear bits but it's useless.
The grey and white are painted trace costs so I can see defects

To be fair it's 'natural' resin as in without pigment. It's not really ever going to be clear. It's clear for about 10mins and apparently can be clear coated to stop the yellow but I'll just use something else for Windows.

Looking good but the mantlet still needs fixing. About the only people I can think of who used a naked mantlet was the Bundeswehr on later marks of the M-48A2G2.
I had a look at redoing the mantlet on a plastic 1/48 Revell/Monogram M-48A2 and I reckon old school green stuff is probably the best way to get that squeeze box look where the mantlet cover meets the turret. With CAD and a printer, I’m sure there’s a better way.
