Bit of Apocalypse now trivia...

Came across this unused shot of 'Colby' shooting Dennis Hopper's character, before being killed by 'Willard'

It really makes you appreciate whoever it was from the studio who edited it down to the original cinema release version.

It also underlines all the stories about Hopper on the shoot.

I always thought the Redux version was a worse offering than the cinema cut  with all its bloated John Milius blather but this makes you realise it could have been far worse.

Congrats on the boat though, looks like that will be fun to put together and paint.

Got a bit more done, pilot/driver bloke glued in, swapped one of the M60s for the Mk18 Mod0 from the PBR (may need to adjust the operator's hands a bit.
Painting the SEALs to match the first set, 'blue jeans' are bit more blue this time...

Part way through the same project but hate doing the face cammo. Its weird spending so much time on a face to paint over it
