Wanted- Bride of Frankenstein Figure
« on: June 24, 2009, 03:47:02 PM »
I'm looking for a figure to serve as a bride of Frankenstein type character.

So far, I know of a figure in a set by Westwind. . . do you have any others to recommend?

How about companies that make mad scientist lab accessories besides Westwind?

Thanks!

Aside from the Foundry ones, there is also this set from Chiltern:

Might be more economic?  ;)

For lab equipment, if you can get the Old Ravenloft range by Ral Partha have a laboratory set with some additional packs with life energisers, lab tablesetc.
They are suitbaly gothic and based I believe on Frankensteins lad from the Universal 1930 Boris Karloff Film
They are difficult to come by as they are OOP. :(

Thanks all.

Some really great suggestions you have given me.

I might be able to get the Old Ravenloft items as I'm friends with the man who used to be the Ral Partha President, lol!  He may have some bits and pieces lying around.

Murch's Pulp Figures has some electronic gizmo's in his wierd menace catagory. Pack #15 I believe. Also Monolith has some lab goodies, but I don't know if they are in business any longer.

While I don't have that actual set, I recently bought some Chiltern pieces and some of them were VERY large and some were a large heroic (Flashman & Vampires figure set. Now I don't have a problem with the Gods & Goddesses being VERY large as they will end up as statues, I prefer my characters to fit in nicely scalewise. One or more of the Vampires will finish up in a saloon or house of ill repute in a Wild West setting. Mind you at this stage there are enough females in my WW collection to provide a women for every cowboy I own!!  :o

West Wind has some stuff..

www.westwindproductions.co.uk/catalog/popup_image.php?pID=324

also check the Frankenstein lab...

THere USED to be a company called "Steelz Breez" (I think) which made lots of lead lab equipment.  It shows up on eBay rarely...  It was some of the best accessories...
