Here is the next one this time an unarmored version. The crew is made up with Rubicon miniatures from the US Marines box. Now for a little question who is drinking beer on a mission?

They're on their way to the motor pool.  They owe their maintenance section that case of beer for getting one of their tracks unstuck....

Another nice little Mutt, by the way.  Although we never called 'em mutts.  Always called 'em Jeeps....

Well I used to know a CQMS who could drink a slab (24 X 375 ml cans) of beer in a night. We used to find him asleep on a little fold-out camp stretcher in the Sergeants' Mess with all the evidence around him. He was definitely drinking like he was on a mission. I ran in to him a few years later. He was collecting super market trolleys. As a further tie-in, he was a Vietnam veteran.

Nicely done that MUTT. Just knocked off one of the new A2 versions from Eureka miniatures. Absolute gem of a model .
