I ordered the golem. I can pick it up from the printer on Saturday.  My printer removed the staff and mirrored the left hand and placed it on the right arm.

I don't enjoy painting large models and dry-brushing can be hit or miss, so fingers crossed.

See, drybrushing big minis is one of my favourite things. I guess we have slightly different painting styles :)

Very much looking forward to your results as always.

My Goblin Hero has been sitting on my painting desk, primered but not painted, for almost six months. I finally got around to finishing him. Here he is along with my mounted Warlord.

And now if I can muster the courage (I dread painting large models), this big fella is next.

Very nice! And best of luck with the "big fella" -looks really impressive already, I'm sure it'll be glorious once painted :D

Truly inspiring stuff. Im obsessed with the effort you put in to these warbands. I might have to order a few of the shieldwolf figures. I caved and ordered the box and a few characters.

Try using Speedpaints for the base. I saw a video yesterday where a pro painter did that for a Giant model he was painting. His base coat was just Speedpaint and he then used his standard painting methods over top of that

Now that I'm mostly done with my Wild Goblin warband, I've begun work collecting miniatures for my next Age of Magic 2.0 warband.

Last year, I saw that MOM Miniaturas, a Spanish Company, release STLs for some old school inspired Chaos Dwarves. As soon as I saw them I knew that I had to have them. Thirty years ago, I painted a GW Chaos Dwarf army of big-hats for Warhammer. That army is no more, but with these new minis I can rebuild that army, but this time for SAGA, Age of Magic.

Except for the Hobgoblins, which are old school GW models and by buying them in ones and twos on eBay, cost as much as all the printed models, all of the models are either printed from MOM Miniaturas STLs or they are resin models from MOM Miniaturas old Dark Dwarf model line.

Brilliant! I have a soft spot for the old big hats, and those sculpts look really nice!

This was like the last thing I needed to see, having been eyeing printing some Chaos Dwarves myself. I cannot wait to see what you do with them.

The only thing that I feel that I'm missing is mobile war machine, which in Saga is a mobile platform that fires multiple small arms. Most of what I've found either looks like a train engine or train car. Personally, I don't care for the train inspired designs.

Based upon how it functions in Saga and the maximum base size of a mobile war machine, this is the best model that I've found so far. It's not great, but it has room in it to put chaos dwarf shooters and the top level comes off, so I needn't use it as a double-decker bus.

It's a Anvilbreakers- Dwarfs of Chaos Juggernaut STL that I found on MyMiniFactory.

I remain on the lookout for something better.

It's clearly inspired by the old Citadel Chaos Dwarf Juggernaut.

This STL looks more like the original Citadel/GW model.
