Those flower pots are great! What a cool idea.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Those are actually gnome burial grounds and the gnome will be providing the needed nutrients for the flowers to blossom

Indoors would be better.  ;)

The idea was part someone at the Craft-Fare & part Helen's (the Wife).
Doing it myself also meant I could personalize it. (Cov. City colours &
graffiti).

I may very well steal that idea, especially around Halloween :D

New Year, & Christmas detritus finally cleared from my room.
First order of the day is to finish of some of the things that were
started before Christmas.
232,233,234.
Here we have some Sci-Fi clutter. What these machines do...I have
no idea, heck I just make them out of bits. Plenty of possibilities:-
Power units, wind collectors, early warning monitors, etc.
242,243,244,245.
The Sacred tree of the Blestra Clan on Moritus Prime. (well I got
bored with, 'I have no idea')
 lol lol lol

Of course Bananas were eaten during the festivities, plus a few
berries dropped of Christmas decorations, so...
more alien plant life.

Table now cleared (temporarily) due to a game being set up.
That will be played tomorrow (AAR later) Details also later
as the players include LAFers.

After tomorrow I will finish off promised projects (Rui & Ian
you are top of the list).

Always useful to have something to hide behind...
unless he can eat you (that has happened in one of my Sci-Fi games!)

They are berries that fell off the Christmas decorations.
I was gluing something else & had some glue left over,
so I dribbled glue over them.
I was thinking that they might be like Puff ball mushrooms
& sometimes explode. That would sent poisonous spores
out a random distance (D 10 inches?) Perhaps that would happen
when a joker card turns up in a Galactic Heroes game.
Throw a D6. 1,2 = 1 pod explodes, 3,4 = 2 pods  & 5,6 =3 pods.
Might even include wind direction (-2" up-wind, =4" down-wind.
What do you think?

Having the pods explode on the draw of a Joker seems like a good idea. Explosions might also be triggered any time ranged fire or a template weapon crosses one of the pod bases…

We have had several similar situations
1) Explosive fire too near the volcano vents might set them off...
Player shot at, & missed me, did hit a vent near me by accident.
I was killed by being hit with a random splodge of magma.
2) In an attempt to stop a rival group getting away with the missile,
a rival group fired & missed the target group... short version is
that due to a series of abysmal dice throws the planetoid they were
     all on blew up!
 lol lol lol
Wargamers, go figure.

Converted a Christmas Train into one for the Wild West for a friend.
The Driver &  Fireman were converted from ACW artillery crew.
I forgot to take pictures of the crew after I painted them though.
