Coming from you David I take that as a compliment in deed. :)

Amongst the many problems I encountered was a shortage of wounded (morale markers).
This was solved by two things.
1) In the John Cunningham horde was a box of plastic horse bits. John was a great one for cutting figures up,
but not for gluing them back together, or even keeping all the bits in the same box  :D.  There were not
enough parts to make 'full' horses, but wounded ones on the ground... Yup. still some missing legs, but
the impression they still existed was given by teasing the basing glue & a bit of paint.
2) I had a large number of artillery men. Being Hinchcliffe they were nice & bendable, but as John had got to them first  :-[
quite a few were headless.  :o  This time though I did have a tiny bag of spare heads. Not the same ones I must point out. lol

So here is the photographic evidence.  On now to the next mini-project. :)

Very impressive output Peter - and looks great as always. More ACW - you'll need a bigger table to fit them all on  :D.

I hope I get to see some of these ACW figures in person on Monday, they look rather impressive.
I have nothing important to say so just keep on scrolling.

Thank you Gregor. Less needing a bigger table, more that I can just take a couple of (Really Useful) boxes off the shelf & play straight away.

You're welcome to have a look at them. The hope is that they see more table time than they have been.
Perhaps against one of your forces?

We like Rebels & Patriots, too, but use it for AWI. It is quick becoming our go-to set for multiplayer games. Next month will see us extend it to Colonials with their set for that period. Looking forward to it, but letting my friend Keith (Orcafinn on LAF) collect the minis for it. DON'T BUY MINIS, Mike - Keith has this...  :D lol

You should Ian  :D quite a few fought on your table & were painted by yourself & Dave.
Along with ones by Garry, John Cunningham, the Evens brothers & others.
Most of my work has been rebasing, repairs & adding figures to make up unit numbers.

Thanks to Vodkafan I now have more 40mm ACW than I need for just a skirmish...
Maybe I should start it all again in 40mm  ;D ;D ;D

Do not ask me what it is. The model came like that, I only painted & based it! lol
From a bag of toys I bought at a charity shop.

Quite clearly, it is a dragoid hybrid (a dragon crossed with a droid).   lol
