Cheers David. I would have taken you up on your offer
of a chat, but I am diving in & out of my (freezing cold)
room, (freezing cold & wet) shed and warm living room.
Next task to find & get started on things I promised before
Christmas. Showed your vegetables garden to Helen. She was
very impressed. Says you are very talented.

No worries, sat and chewed fat with Jamie whilst I finished the garden off.

Thank Helen for me, but I’d argue maybe a tad less talented...more insanity!  ;)

Thanks Cacique.
Been busy today assembling a Piper Cub.
It is one of the items long promised to a friend.
It has reminded me just how much I hate aircraft kits.
Give me an AFV or building anytime, but fiddly, got to be
aerodynamically clear, wobbly wings with annoying thin support
struts, as well as a vague (& often misleading) instructions.
Not to mention several small bits missing!!!!
Nothing I can't overcome, so rant over. I'm leaving it to set
before I start painting it.
Then I can start on an Apache helicopter, Joy of joys.

Ah Bob, but my shitty armoured car isn't as shitty as your shitty armoured cars.
Plus you really do not want to be grabbed by the Cossacks. It would bring tears
to your eyes. lol lol lol

...and you gotta av an Armoured car.
If the Russian on the side of the turret doesn't say, 'Steel Eye'
then blame Google translate.

Loving the details on the truck! When we get back to the club, you'll have to show me your weathering techniques. I'd love to get your help with figurines too, I'm beginning with them but learning.

Very impressive Pete, and somewhat appropriate with the cold weather we are experiencing. Also an impressive output rate.

Nice output so far! I haven't managed to finish anything this year due to other home projects as well as a purge of excess hobby stuff.  I actually found the floor on one side of my office...

I like your truck. It really have taste of that time.  ;)
Just some minor notes from native speaker. Words on turret mean 'eye belongs to steel' rather than 'eye made from steel'. Like in phrase "raven claw" claw not made from ravens.

Thanks Tangarex, what should I have put to mean 'Steel-eye' ?
I am (very) limited in this field.
I rely on:- Russian Tank slogans of WW2,
                A Russian - English dictionary &
                Google translate.
After that I am guessing. This time I guessed wrong.

Very true.  But before I could not actually stand on that side of the room.  lol
