This is very inspirational work, but I have to say I'm confused by the presence of the "95th Rifles" in a thread on the Crimean War, as that regiment was disbanded shortly after the end of the Napoleonic Wars, and formed the basis of the new Rifle Brigade, which indeed took part in the Crimean War, and is presumably what is represented here. The new 95th Regt. which also served in the Crimea, was not a rifle regiment.
P.S. It occurs to me that this is a mistake the original Lord Raglan might well have made, understandably in view of his advanced years, along with referring to the Russians as French. There's nothing wrong with getting into character.
