These come out quicker than I can watch them!

And that's a good thing as I wouldn't want to wait too long... mammoth story telling and I look forward to meeting you soon!

Thanks for saying Mr Boom!

BTW, don't get your expectations up about visiting! The world of Tilea might seem impressive, but the reality behind it is very humble. The practice game is a kitchen table affair! But it will be fun, and is necessary if the Compagnia del Sole are to fight like battle-hardened veterans in an actaul campaign game. :D

Not sure if I posted in here before, but just in case I haven't so far: Brilliant. What you do is unique and impressive. I'm not a fan of removing figure bases per photoshop wizardy in general, but with these videos I think it fits. In general, I love the variety of figures used, the creativity, and that you don't succumb to using flashy effects (which make figures always look bad somehow). The figures carry the whole thing, and that they do well. Great stuff, thanks for your work.

Hee hee. I don't remove the bases with photoshop, I base them in flock and then I hide the edges under buckets of flock for the photos. It's all very (and dustily) 'real'!

The only photoshop I do is when a stray hair gets into a picture, or a bit of flock is sitting on a hat or an arm, or I have chipped a figure and haven't noticed before the photo. I do sometimes add fire and cannon muzzle blasts, for fun. And occasionally I move a figures' eyes so that they are looking at what they are meant to be looking at!

In truth, for me the figures mainly provide something visual (and relatively 'accurate') to go with the unfolding story  (as well as the means to play the battles) but it is the story that I am really invested in. That's what I want to feel proud of!  :)

My bad. :D First few times I looked at it, I thought they were covered up in some ground flock stuff, but then I thought it was photoshoopin'. Well, in that case I'll give you a pass, because the physical world rules. ;)

I do written battle reports, and I have to say that I also like to add some muzzle fire effects here and there. It's pretty fun I have to admit.
