STill no joy in California.

I love it. Sweden and Spain within days, but the far-off and mysterious country of California still awaits it's deliveries. My wife is actually a postal employee, and I suspect she and the eldritch powers are at work here...

Got mine yesterday (Friday 7/10) in Michigan, USA.

Beautiful book. Excellent quality. Nicely written. Looks like a good system.

Good job Uncle Mike! Kudos to you and your team. Thanks for your hard work.

Joy in california today !

Love the layout, love the artwork, really like most of the game system, very clever use of many great concepts.

I'm confused about a couple of points in the rules, and couldn't find a forum to ask them in.  Does one exist?  Should I ask here?

Many Kudos to the Northern Unclemikeans !

I got mine as well.

I'm happy with the figures, with the game, and it harkens back to many other great systems like Mordheim. I'm looking forward to gaming and painting the goodies. HPL is awesome.

Hope you have a smashing success!

It hasn't been ordered yet!

Sorry been a bit busy of late, Can I just ask how people are finding the spiral spine, TBH I've never really liked them, does it seem very sturdy?

Also if anyone can post up a few pics of a few of the pages that would be great.

The book is top notch. The spiral bind makes it easy to read, and easy to flip back and forth. In fact, it's also got a clear plastic cover as the front page, great when you have children and wives that like to set things on your precious game books...

Top notch production. Very nice.

This is honestly the finest quality book I've ever gotten from a (sorry!) "small" press.

Now, I've got to try to find time to read it....

I often get game books coil bind as they are easy to fold over and take up less space on the gaming table.  I was a little leary about the coil binding myself at first, but they did a bang-up job, and the paper is thick enough that it shouldn't easily tear out.

The plastic cover is great.  Keeps the book protected a little.

My thoughts exactly.
I also was a little leary of a coil binding, but it lays flat on the game table without flipping pages so you can easily keep your place during gameplay.  A very well thought out design.

The spiral bind makes it easy to read, and easy to flip back and forth.

Exactly! Cause only the gods know how much I was flipping back and forth through the pages first game. Despite having read absolutely everything (except the publisher/production date, etc.) prior to playing.

In fact, it's also got a clear plastic cover as the front page, great when you have children and wives that like to set things on your precious game books...

Just thinking of such activities makes me cringe! Such well-kept and untarnished books, until along comes mister coffee ring and sticky peanut butter fingers.

It is a very good lay out, I could see the book lasting some time!

Just arrived here in Sydney and wow it looks (and reads) great- like a Lovecraftian Mordheim!  Miniatures are likewise top notch.  Very pleased and can't wait for my first game!

Hi Chaps,

Have to agree with everyone elses comments.

Mine arrived in the UK 3 days ago along with the minis, I was so impressed i had to place another miniatures order with uncle mike and had to finally get around to joining this forum ( after much lurking) in order to voice my thanks, as i learned about it here.

regards
