Very tough choice, both are marvelous!

What can I do, flip the coin?

Wow  :o :-* That first entry is incredible. Top notch composition and storytelling, whilst the colour palette, tone and overall look is almost like a Rembrandt painting. The figures are interesting and unusual too. Who makes them?
Being picky, it's a shame about the shine on the clothing of the central characters here and there, but it's fiendishly difficult to eliminate. Overall it's a stunning scene - really well done.

Ogrob - more superb kitbashing  :-*
The Fireforge Teutonic great helms work really well on those new 'Northern' bodies.
I don't recognise the head you've used for your Robb Stark. It's rather a nice one  :)

two brilliantly matched entries and difficult to pick one to vote for.  Loving the cavalry charge which has a nice realism to it.   But then the aftermath has so many good figures too.  Would like to see after the round some more pictures of your aftermath scene if possible

Thank you kindly, gentlemen!
Odd Duck - The central figures in my scene are Helldorado Westerners.

Captain Blood - High praise indeed! Humble thanks. After painting these Westerners and the Saracens for an earlier round, I've come to feel that the Helldorado miniatures are pretty much my gold standard for size and scaling of 28mm miniatures. They just feel so right.
I can only agree about the shine. I spent quite a bit of time fiddling with the lighting, but focused exclusively on mood over eliminating glare and such.

Khartoum2 - I did snap a phone pic of the whole scene (along with lights and camera). I'll make sure to share that after next weekend :)
The thought behind the name (and pairing them with Skaven) is an Old World after the Winds of Magic has fallen silent and the remnants of civilization find themselves abandoned by their gods, but monsters still lurk in the dark. So, a "What would Warhammer Empire look like after the End Times" sort of thing.

Captain Blood - Thank you! It's Fireforge's Young Wolf. I've used the resin head and torso but replaced arms, legs and horse with plastic.
