Some Dixons are very good, such as the French Colonials and the ones you've painted. Others are "bollocks"
TM (description used specially for Malamute

) as the heads are pumpkins and some of the "creases" in jackets and trousers are so overdone they look like they are made out of thin cotton rather than cloth. Sadly the ACW range is one of the worst for this.
If I can see them at shows etc then I'll be happy to buy them, but I wouldn't order unseen.
Your painted samples are very good indeed -I especially like Mr Barx, who I need to buy. In his white suit, the gambler looks like he would be at home running "La Grange" (which for non-ZZ Top fans, is a house of ill-repute)
