Hmmmm....Houston.....we have a problem!

Looks like I may have been handed the Photobucket hand of death!

So all my pics from the last 10+ years have disappeared and I can’t access my account!  I have dropped them a line but I’m not holding much hope....

Right now I’m a bit upset so I will go quiet for a few days whilst I see if it can be resolved.

Some, though not all, of the photos are back.  Digits, again I recommend starting a Google blog as a place to store your own photos.  You can share them from there to here on LAF.  And you don't have to actually post or publicize your blog, just use it for photos and keeping personal records if you like.  Having a google blog frees you from the photo buckets of the world.  Far better you do that than go dark - there are too many of us who appreciate your work and how you present it.

Photobucket have responded saying there was a power outage at one of their data centres and that issues are being dealt with.....hopefully all will be resolved soon.

Digits, if I can create a Google blog, trust me, you can do so, too.  It isn't hard and there are numbers of people here on LAF that I'm certain would be happy to help you make forward progress.  The only time I've ever lost a photo in a post was when I decided to delete the photo from my blog.  Avoid the emotional punch to your gut of others creating problems with your photos - I encourage you to make the jump.  Let us know if you do so and have questions.  Help is here if you need it.

It doesn’t need to be a Google blog. I use Wordpress (I don’t think that’s Google) for photo hosting. Simples and free.

This is certainly taking them time to sort out though they have answered each of my messages.  What’s bizarre is I’m seeing different images actually appearing on my iPad than my iPhone!  I can see the opening image of this thread for example on my iPhone but not on the iPad!

All photos restored within the thread now I believe.  And that is very good because now I can be a proper thief of ideas for modeling a triple canopy rainforest and jungle with your inspiration Digits.
