So he is!   Nice one, I may have to order him.

Flatpack - to be fair, the guys on here (Captain Blood, Mamalute etc got there first....I’m merely stoked by what they have done.  If I get a few figures that look HALF as good,  I will be made up!  Their battle report using FFoL was the final straw.....I couldn’t resist!

Very pleased to hear we contributed to your latest venture lol

Looking forward to seeing your progress. ;D

We have some games planned for a few weeks time. Everyone is busy building and painting new retinues in readiness.... lol

It's a great film for inspiration  :)

The black and cream certainly does have an appeal to it.

As well as terrain  ::) lol

Yep, FFofL's a good 'un. There's only very rare occasions when you feel you've actually joined your toys in their world. This has happened to me a few times in the Wacky World of Wiley!!!

I agree with Oscar Wilde, I can resist anything but temptation.

I think Bob and I were hoping you might have a few Muslim figures in your lead pile fella!

Hmm...just been looking round at the various available suppliers of Muslim figures.

The Perry ones are nice but I feel the range a little limited.  A few nice packs from Artizan helps but after that, the quality of others worries me.

However, for a small band a pack or two from these two purchased, will allow me to build a pair of bands and a few civilians for flavour....

I'm concentrating on the Crusaders, so not too bothered about the quality of the Saracens, as I won't be using 'em!
Having said that I couldn't resist this bloke as mi' Mad Mullah and his bodyguard...

Yup saw that one.  I’ve just bought some Andalusian Moor archers/ crossbow and a pack of Berber spearmint from Artizan, and  a pack of Turk heavy cavalry and a pack of dismounted Turks from Perry.

Enough to give me a reasonable choice of figures to make two retinues I feel.

Sorry to go slightly OT.... one of my wishes  for the Perry Crusade range is that they produce some 'Arab' heavy infantry as the models above are mostly Turkic.

One can dream..... maybe some plastic 'Arab' infantry for the 11th and 12th centuries one day :)
