Saw it at their Facebook. 36 models per box. I will use them to complement my Indian Mutiny collection.

I've just looked at their Newsletter and I'm over the moon about these!!

I can now concentrate on collecting the Afghan Regulars and not worry too much about the 'Tribesmen', of course there will be a good sprinkling of the metals on the bases too!!

I really love the posing of the three ups we see here :-* :-* :-*

I'm looking forward to seeing what is possible with other variations on the torsos. I guess the crouched torsos will have to remain just that.

Astonishingly wonderful and about blinking time!  :-*

That, I suspect, is what you might call shooting the fox as far as Wargames Atlantic's recently announced upcoming offering is concerned  ::)

We know you don't like the War of the Triple Alliance/ Great Paraguayan Wars range. You've made it perfectly clear. Give it a rest already.

Given the options Michael says will be in the box, what period would these be suitable for roughly other than the actual 2nd Afghan War?

Given that I haven’t painted a figure for over a year ......... these are on my must buy list .  ;D As for what period would they be suitable for , as they’re plastic figures you can arm them with anything from muskets right up to AK47,s from the spares box . The clothing hasn’t changed much right up to the present day , I would think .

Like others have said, this is a long overdue and much wanted release! We now have plastic native forces in the form of Sudanese and Zulus, and soon Afghans!!!!!!! The conversion possibilities are great! Moreover, who doesn't need heeps of fanatical Afghans to fight the British and Indian forces!

The recent plastic French Naps are great, and this box of Afghans looks just as good! And don't forget that there is still plastic Austrian Nap cavalry in the works (anyone hear any news on that project???). Great days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done to Michael and Alan Perry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
