A bit of an action hero movie character on two wheels
« on: July 22, 2009, 12:41:09 PM »

Sisterhood biker from Westwind´s Roadkill range. I would not recommend their biker range, but regretfully there are not many motorcyclists around.

The bikers come with and without bike in one blister. Different characters are available...  :yahoo:

Thats a nice mini, whats wrong with the biker range?

She looks quite close to a not-Johanna Dark form Perfect Dark, nice.

From what other people have said, the Westwind bikers are an absolute cow to put together - nothing lines up and the frequently need bending, filling and cutting just to make them useable. Casting quality can be hit and miss with WW too.

The fact that Michi has made this one look so bloody good says more about his modeling skills than it does about the casting itself. And it really is a blindingly good paintjob.  :)

Either casting or sculpting of the motorcycles is assymmetrical and bent. Plus they are technical impossibilities. The sculptors give only an image of a bike, but actually it would not be able to run. Anyway, I can live with that. It does look like a bike, doesn´t it?

I love the way you painting the plexiglass "window" portion of the fairing.  PERFECT.  And the headlights are pretty convincing as well.  The multicolored lightning graphic, however, doesn't do much for me.

Great looking figure. If I didn't know better, the first picture looked very realistic. Nice painting of the figures as well. Thanks for sharing.
