Knights Templar
« on: July 22, 2009, 01:31:00 PM »
DEUS LO VULT - GOD WILLS IT!

A knight Templar. One of the poor soldiers of Christ.

He is not alone.

The crusaders gather under the Beaucéant, their standard. They call their brothers to assemble.

René Le Noir

Guy de Champagne

Louis du Forêt

Godefroy de Crécy

Martin de St. Michel

and Jaques du Jour

They make a plan...

...and tell it to their brothers.

A plan for an attack. Eight knights, each in command of his own troops.

They call their men-at-arms.

Then they lead the attack from the front.

Who make the figures? Some horses look like Old Glory ones…  ???

Great looking figures! Very nice painting detail...I need to get mine painted. I have them all filed down and ready to prime...by the way. do you have any steps on painting the linen white and the exact colours to use? I really like the photography. Thanks for sharing.

Figures are Old Glory as well (not only the horses). I use Vallejo paints. The base colour is a usual ochre, highlighted with white.

Very nice indeed. I didn't know those figures looked that nice. Too bad their website didn't have better photos, and perhaps more painted photos as well!!

Great paint jobs. What gaming system do you use them with?

I admit that they were not used in any games yet...

Haven't seen the one in cappa with cross in hand before, brilliant model.
The rest isn't bad either – greatly enhanced by your paintjobs, of course. ;)

Great to see Old Glory minis especially painted like this - it is annoying that it is so seemingly hard to find pics of some of their minis.
