You are very mistaken  ;)

Larisa Reisner is the writer, journalist, commissar of the Volga Military Flotilla of Bolsheviks. Apparently, she didn’t wear a uniform - there are no such photos. According to the memoirs, of the "military" attributes she had only a black leather jacket and a revolver.

Lyudmila Mokievskaya-Zubok. The only woman in history - the commander of an armored train, who combined the position of commissar. She distinguished herself in battles with the Germans during the summer of 1918. She died in battle in 1919. She wore a Caucasian uniform, presented to her as a reward.

It seemed to me that we are talking about women who were directly involved in the hostilities...   ::)

I have added your blog to favourites!
Great work.
What dimensions do you use for the flags?

Cheers Johnno.

My flags are 40mm square but they should really be rectangular according to this translated link.  Here's the original too.

The Bolos have lots of red flags  lol

I hadn't really thought about what the types were made from.  I was copying the coloured photos of contemporary ACs here showing white tyres. https://armoredcars-ww-one.blogspot.com

Here is my latest BoB unit.  This time, some White Cossacks.  They are based on the 17th Orenburg Cossacks, who were a Corps support asset for Verzhbitskiy's Corps of the Siberian army in 1919.

Mark's Pygmy Wars site is the uniform source. I didn't want to do Siberian Cossacks as they had red facings and I'd like to avoid red in the White Army for purely themetic reasons. The blue looks good and is different to the raspberry of the infantry.  I know some should have lances but none of the figures did.  I'll have to order some from Studio Siberia or convert some Copplestone figures.  A few lancers would be nice to give an effect even if it isn't the full 50%.

The integral cavalry suport for 4th Division should be the Separate Horse-Jäger Divizion under Col Manzhetnyy.  I'll need to research them a bit first and look for suitable figures.

Good work on the a/c, these vehicles had so much ‘character’ during these early years of AFVs!
You can never have too many Cossacks yours look to be fine fighting men.
