It’s okay, my club mates are megalomaniacs, so I’m a long way off having too much stuff. http://www.sswg.co.uk/normandy-bolt-action-main-gallery/That scenario sounds great. I need to get some partisan figures. I was thinking a unit or two of Czechs Would be useful too. We can do really long tables, which is great for having the supply lines on table.
Who needs a Commissar when you can have a rabid Orthodox Priest!
Bloke on the left of that Red gun is gonna need to move fast when his mate fires it!
Wow, what a set up!

Those Para's have to be wondering why their rifles won't fire far enough to reach across the bridge I'll get me coat.....
It is certainly a bit of an issue on big tables. Even artillery can easily get out of range. We want recognisable buildings too but large structure and vehicles, especially trains or ships, can get really big when made anything close to scale with the men. That's why our villages and town only have a handful of buildings. Although, I do have some sympathy for the argument that shooting a moving target off-hand at 400 yards in not that easy.
