It’s okay, my club mates are megalomaniacs, so I’m a long way off having too much stuff.   lol

That scenario sounds great.  I need to get some partisan figures.  I was thinking a unit or two of Czechs Would be useful too.  We can do really long tables, which is great for having the supply lines on table.

Wow, what a set up!  :o

I've painted a few more Whites, including most of my small Studio Siberia order.  They go very well with the Copplestones.  I especially like the Priest.

More White support too.

Nice to see the Studio Siberia minis painted up, and very nicely too. I also really like the priest. He is quite dynamic.

Nice stuff with the recent figures!

Who needs a Commissar when you can have a rabid Orthodox Priest!  :)

A bit of religious fervour never hurts get the troops over the top.  Especially when you're fighting Godless Commie Scum.

Speaking of which, the Whites will need some divine help if these range in.   :D

 :o lol

The hydraulic recoil damper should mean he can still have little lead children but I see what you mean.  They’re not experienced gunners.  :D

at about the 44 sec mark the gunner carefully avoids the wheel- which is good at 45 sec.  lol

That's the heavy gun.  Although, there is still a jump with the M1902 as you can see here at 7s.

Much better than this though.  See 1m 35s.

What I have noticed is that I have put the guys sighting on the wrong side for all the guns though.    :(

This one is a bit more on topic.  Not an SSWG game strictly but one our chums from Pitsea put on at the club HQ.

:D  It is certainly a bit of an issue on big tables.  Even artillery can easily get out of range.  We want recognisable buildings too but large structure and vehicles, especially trains or ships, can get really big when made anything close to scale with the men.  That's why our villages and town only have a handful of buildings.  Although, I do have some sympathy for the argument that shooting a moving target off-hand at 400 yards in not that easy.

Were the Bolt Action rules ever amended so that the rifles did have the range to shoot over their Pegasus Bridge model? I'm sure that I heard they changed the rules  ???
