Excellent idea, I'm really looking forward to seeing what the scenery experts come up with 8)

As a bunch of figures in front of a plain background is about the limit of my abillity, I won't be in it :'(

A great idea!

Well, I will try it... I would like to invest these weeks to make a lot of scenery for my next campaign and I think this contest can help to keep working when, surely, I would tell myself to do a lot of different things ...

Does it need to be new painted figures, unpublished on the web before or anything like that?

Unlike with the LPL, this contest has no such restrictions. New, old, seen before, not seen before; whatever you like.

Did I miss any hints of a deadline? Because I would like to give it a try but will be away in Danmark (playing good old pen and paper rpg for a week). So if there's time afterwards, count me in.

no, only Historical, no Sci-Fi or VSF.
Darn, than it seems I'm out of luck with this one.

I think Plynkes said it was the 14th August.

Greetings

now that would be something with a huge interest. I can imagine my colonial brits from Foundry and Empress telling stories..oh my. Unfortunately with my move in 28 days -today- I have barely the time to read all the interesting threads here and beyond much less do something actively with half my stuff already packed and ready to be shipped.
I will try to follow the whole thing though.

Happy brushlicking

Working like a slave...miniatures almost done. Terrain underway. 1 page story written (enough?). Photos remain. Puh... Are we expected to make a .pdf file of it all or do you want the pictures separated?

How are the rest of you lead slaves doing?

Sorry I have given in. :'(
To short a time and too much to paint. I never would have made the dead line. :'(
I didn't have any suitable figures or terrain that would match them so I would have had to start from scratch.
Good luck to everyone.
Looking forward to seeing other peoples entries.

I really will try to enter this. Honest. I just need to think up a tale, as it were...

Wish I could enter, but my Foundry order hasn't arrived stateside yet.  Not a hope in a handbasket that I'll manage to get figures prepped, primed, painted, and photographed, even if I could remember what the heck I bought.

Oh, well.  Maybe next time.

There will be a next time, won't there?

 :)

Summer is a very difficult time for me.  I need more research and more minis before I could even hope to join in and I'm afraid this isn't going to happen soon.
