Just to say a little thank you to our very own dadlamassu. I was short of an arm carrying an MG42, this kind member posted one to me, first class post, fer nowt!

I've found a new way to send yersen demented...
painting Fallschirmjager splinter pattern in 28mm, then adding the 'raindrops' with a pin.
If you think painting 'pea dot' cammo sends you to the gates of madness, trust me, splinter pattern sends you right through 'em, kicking and screaming, at ninety miles an hour!
Will someone please confirm that Jerry Paras in North Africa often wore a plain sand coloured smock?

Many wore the same smocks they wore in Crete,or no smocks at all,shirt sleeves,British kit et cetera were popular.Google Brigade Ramke,images. You can’t go far wrong. As far as I’m aware no smocks were specifically designed for North Africa.
