These are terrific.  Are these going to be commercially available?  Is so, what other figures do you plan to make to go with/against these?

Thank you!

We hope to put them on wargamesvault and similar sites by the end of next week!
No OFFICIAL plans for an enemy, but i'd love to do some arabian troops - plenty of yellow tones! :)

New prints, new babies to paint!

And of course, the horses!
The horse model was bought on CGtrader and slightly tweaked for safer prints (https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/animals/mammal/horse-stallion), so that's not my work! Still, a pretty great investment!

I painted up 24 of these in about 1 hours and half (horses take a bit more time, apparently) and i've got my first three bases!

C&C welcome, more to come!
Jack

:-* :-* Dude those are amazing.

Really tempted to get into 6mm fantasy for mass battles and I've been ruminating on what 3D printer to get for figure making and this isn't helping lol

Really like how dynamic those infantry stands are, its just  :o

Thanks!! :) I would say go for an Anycubic Photon or an Elegoo Mars, they are both great and pretty handy. there's lots of comparisons between the two online!
For me, 6mm is the only decent scale for mass battles. my free time is not enough for a proper 15mm or 28mm army, and the "wave" effect of these is just so good.

Meanwhile, a new unit: Heavy Cavalry!

Updates on the buildings too: the stables are SO sweet!

No more updates for tonight i'm afraid, unless i decide to rush-paint the knights! :P
Cheers

Jack

More prints, not much done on the painting side. But still.

Battering ram is done:

And the destroyed version:

Same with the siege tower:

And the destroyed version:

...while the trebuchet is still under works.

GROUP SHOT!

Buildings-wise, another two are printed:

and the well!

and again, GROUP SHOT!

In terms of troops, both archers and xbowmen are done, and they are VERY thin and detailed! :)

Bows:

Crossbows:

...and that's all for the successes of the weekend. A few more things to add and the range can be considered as done! :)

Cheers,
Jack

This is great. I cant wait for the release of the figs and the terrain. Bundle them up and my Elegoo will start printing these instead of Legion figs for a while.

Woo! I'm receiving the first test print pictures from a couple of users, I can't wait to see what others will do with the range!

Meanwhile, i'm printing my first trebuchets!

SO you git the Fantasy Humans covered. Add a hill giant, a couple of ogres and a griffin or two and you are done and dusted. Now after that, what will be your first opponent of the upstart humans?

Thanks Jag! I really can't wait to see what you'll print, if you'll jump on the wagon!

Fair point! I think i won't go with monsters because
a) it takes a lot to sculpt them
b) there's PLENTY on the market - downscaling 28mm stuff from thingyverse works splendidly, and i will definitely do that myself
...but another faction is indeed a cool thing. I will wait to see how well this one will sell. It took me some energies to make all the troops, but if it's a success i will move towards some arabian/persian-inspired kind of troops. Less metal and more cloths, light troops and probably elephants of sort!

I might even do some one-offs, such as spartans from 300 (and i could print 300 of them, guess what!).... it all depends on how this one goes!

Meanwhile, the trebuches are printed:

And in a group shot with the rest of the siege weapons. Both destroyed and not destroyed!

C&C welcome, i might have completed the printing, and now it's painting time!

Cheers,
Jack

And... the cavalry is done!
Having them on the workbench, just snapped from the supports... it always feels good.

Anyways, here's the full cavalry, about 65 figures!

And the cloacks - although entirely unhistorical - really look good!

Cheers,
Jack
