Your army looks great! If I played WFB, I'd be tempted do do a similar substitute army attempt maybe using Wars Of The Roses for Empire.

I love those Bend Sinister Pygmies. Their masks are wonderfully over the top 

The gorilla conversions have also come out very well indeed. Worth trying for Darkest Africa games - if I had the skill.

I have my own pygmy army (mainly Kallistra witha few Eureka bits) but only one regiment has seen a brush so far...

Thanks for all the compliments - occasionally I go into overdrive on a project that appeals to me, and next thing you know, I am done. Happened with my Norwegians, as well...

I can not believe you have them done already! It seems like I just mailed you the Pygmies yesterday. I'll be happy if I get 15 figures painted by the end of the summer never mind the numbers you did.  The gorillas look great too. You did a nice job with redoing their arms. Congratulations on pulling off such a huge project!
