I must confess that I've bought lads in Prussian Fusilier caps for my Wurttemberg Kreis-Regiment... Don't hate me... 

(It's an odd one... They are recorded as having caps in the 1740s and again in the 1780s, but not during the SYW.  I'm guessing they had them for 'parade best' and then brought out the tricorn hats for campaigns?)

No reason to hate you! 
On the contrary, I admire how prolific and historically accurate is your job and the completeness of your presentations!
I only envy you, the good way, for the outstanding setup of your blog and the frequency of your posts!
One more reason of envy is that my lead pile has completely vanished and from this side of the world, with the present conditions, it is terribly difficult concerning time and money to make new orders

I am proud that Kronoskaf accepted my tentative reconstructions of Ernestinisch Sachsen flags, I hope you like this one.
For the dear colleagues who may wonder whether Saxe Weimar Eisenach had fusiliers, I will humbly admit that there is no such evidence.
Simply, from the figures available I was short of 8 hatmen and had a surplus of 8 fusiliers.
So this unit partly belongs to the sphere of Imagi-Nations
