Morning, Laffers!

Thank you to all those forum members who've reached out to say they've bought ZD.  I hope you've had a chance to get the Solo mode on the table and found the game fun and challenging.  For those who've not yet taken that leap, and to help those who have but who find the mechanics too unusual to get their heads around, I've put together a series of HTP videos.

Now, I do have to say that this is new ground, to me.  My awesome patrons have made it possible for me to get the software and assets to gradually make better products, as I learn how to use the tools.  So I'll be replacing these videos with better versions as I have the time.  For now, #1 is pretty much good.  #2 and #3 are a bit rough.  #4 is OK but still hampered by my questionable voiceover skills.

Nice work!  It is amazing how many skills you need to learn to be a freelance game designer!

1. Marketing
2. Audio/Visual
3. Basic copyright law
4. Basic Business law
5. Business 101
6. Social Media
7. Writing/Editing
8. Hobby skills (painting, terrain making, Sculpting, Model making)
9. Graphic Design and page Layout
10. Accounting and Insurance
etc.

Sometimes, it feels like the least important thing is your ability to make a decent game!

I think your voiceovers are fine, but I'm not surprised if making them might feel stressful.

I've also bought ZD and though I haven't put it through its paces, I can say I'm happy with its contents and layout.

I look forward to your updates, especially once you get more comfortable with your editing tools.
