Got to agree with all the above comments.

Another great piece Nick.
I love the weathering on the wood. :-*
A very original idea with the ruins. It will fit in really well with your other buildings.
What are you using for inspiration for these buildings?
Can you please show us a pic of the whole town with the latest additions? It is so inspiring!
Seconded more pictures please :D

Really nice layout - works well. Still loving your adobe work!

What are u mounting your pieces on? It looks very thick. I assume it will be used as part of a larger board - not a piece to put on top of a board?

6mm MDF, no warping!  Chamfer the edges and it looks ok. It is thick, but I hate to see curled up edges on the games table, one of my pet hates, along with bent muskets/spears >:(

Thanks for all the great comments, it keeps me motivated to build more. :)

Inspiration comes from a number of sources, I have some excellent drawings of San Antonio De Bejar in 1836 - 1840, showing the Spanish influenced style houses and the church of San Fernando.
My biggest influence though is films, I have a good Western library and its always a good excuse to sit and watch a movie on the premise of research ;)
The 2004 Alamo film, had a superb set and provided some good ideas.

I'll do some more town pictures when the next one is built.

You are building one hellva Spanish town.  All you need now is some really unique figures to go with it.   ;)

Just brilliant! You inspire me to start some of my own Old West town projects as soon as all the other projects will permit ...

That is absolutely cool. You´d rather use it for a "Devil´s Rejects" game as well!
