A Battle in a Forest
« on: 14 July 2020, 10:58:29 AM »
I'm in a newly imposed second round of lock-down in the plague infested city of Melbourne, so I decided that a solo game of Dragon Rampant was needed to bring some life into my grim grey winter world. The realm of the Erlking has been invaded by dark and evil forces lead by the evil Black Maugwr in his hideous werewolf form. Can the forces of Faerie, lead by the Rosy Knight drive the forces of evil back?

Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

nice Orcs, love the wolfy too
I have a bad case of prescient nostalgia. The future's not what it used to be.

Thanks folks. It's foggy, grey, wet and cold outside and I need the positive vibes.

Very nice figures and a great battle report.  It's good to see those Reaper Bones Ogres on the table.

I would love to hear the profiles you used for the Rosy Knight/Bluefang and the Black Mauwgh.

Thanks again for the great responses. I'll have to have a follow up game soon.

I would love to hear the profiles you used for the Rosy Knight/Bluefang and the Black Mauwgh.

Thanks Easy E. They're both pretty simple: The Rosy Knight is just a Greater Warbeast with Flame attack and Flying (10pts). Black Maugwr is also a Greater Warbeast with Cunning, Rending Jaws (ie: Venomous) and Fear (13pts).  Black Maugwr is pretty much a killing machine where the Rosy Knight/Bluefang is more of an all rounder.

Superb! Where are your centaurs and fauna from? (Apart from Narnia/ Greece, obvs).
