A great imagining of the rich history of the Witcher universe. Truly inspiring and I salute the hand painted heraldry - no mean feat!

Love it! Nice freehand. Will be following this thread with interest.

Those dwarf models, where are they from? I'm looking for sensibly proportioned dwarfs for my own fantasy project and these are not the usual beards wit legs.

Again, thanks for the kind comments. While I try to paint fast, I really enjoy painting little details like the heraldry and shield patterns.

As Chimpfoot guessed the dwarves are from Hasslefree with a couple of Perry Plastics parts like the paveses and the poleaxe.

Cheers! Looks like a Hasslefree order is imminent.

Oh just spotted this thread! And it is Ace!
Keep up the good work.  :D
I have been wanting to do a Nilfgaard force for awhile now as well.

I'm really looking forward to seeing your take on them, I love your conversions of the cheap EM4-dwarves.

Thanks moody, I've been thinking about Nilfgaard for a while and while most troops could be represented by Perry WotR kits, I have yet to find some fitting helmets.

There's a few open-faced/visorless sallets in the Perry WotR Mercenaries plastic set, which could work for a base, but getting the horns/wings added will definitely be a challenge!

Yes, that's my concern as well. I have some feathers from GW Empire kits left, but I think they're too big.

Love those Hasslefree Dwarves! Actually, I love pretty much everything you've done so far  :D

Oh, and I know this has already been mentioned... But those shields are to die for!

Yeah that is the rub. Getting those plums and horns to work.
Would some of the steel fist ranges renaissance/Italian wars guys work?
