Splod, thank you for the compliment.

Moody, SteelFist might number a good call. We'll see if I ever get there.

Right now I'm painting a certain white haired fellow...

The Battle for the Bridge on the Yaruga
[/b]

Meve's partisan army has been cornered by the Nilfgaardian forces. Their only chance of survival is to reach a nameless bridge over the river Yaruga, defended by a small contingent of Lyrian soldiers and dwarven mercenaries. But the Nilfgaardians have split their forces and are pushing the defenders over the bridge. Can they hold the bridge long enough for Meve to cross the river and evade her pursuers?

Yes, that's my concern as well. I have some feathers from GW Empire kits left, but I think they're too big.
What about the ones from the Oathmark Elf Light Infantry sprues?

Meve appears in time to see Geralt save the wavering Lyrians on the bridge and drives the Nilfgaardians off.

That's an excellent representation of a really important scene in the Witcher canon. Amazing  :-*

Curious to see the Witcher himself when he's done, I also really like the germanic orcs!  :D

Great action photos.

Painting some Claymore Casting Miniatures who will do double duty as soldiers of Alladore in my Rangers Of Shadow Deep games and from Brugge in the Witcher-Setting.
I really like the character of the minis, like the puffed cheeks of the guy in the middle swinging the polearm.

Agreed on the characterful minis. I'm enjoying your muted color scheme here, but I've got to ask, how do you paint your bases? I'm digging the different colored rocks/gravel.
