The allodorian patrol continues it's way through the swamps on the border with the Shadow Deep.
And they can't shake the feeling that someone is watching them...

Glad you like it. Has someone spotted what's lurking in the swamp?

I've built a unit of dwarven spearmen. A bit of kit bashing, but mostly just the Oathmark Dwarf Infantry set.

Plus some heavy dwarven infantry, kit bashed with Perry hundred years war foot knights.

My brain immidiately started to play the bass:
"It's close to midnight
Something evil's lurkin' in the dark
Under the moonlight
You see a sight that almost stops your heart"
 :)

I was thinking more along the lines of Iron Maiden's Fear Of The Dark but I guess Thriller works as well :D

ouh. I like those heavy infantry. I don't know what it is with the oathmark dwarfs, but they usually do not appeal to me, I might be to brainwashed by years of collecting citadel dwarves... If I try to pinpoint it, it is that they usually do not look like they mean business, but rather like garden gnomes or something. somehow less comical but still less serious. however, I really like that kitbash, it somehow makes them look more realistic and thereby circumvents the problems. nice work!
