Glad you like it. Has someone spotted what's lurking in the swamp?

Ok, I've blown up the pictures as much as possible and been staring for a while now, can I have a hint, perhaps?

Check the third picture, below the soldier in the middle and left of the soldier on the bottom.

I'm currently painting some Bad Squiddo viking ladies as Skellige raiders

Hmmm, it appears to be some sort of dorsal fin, or ridge on the top of a beast’s head, but I can’t tell what the critter is. No doubt a Witcher could tell... those poor sods in that patrol are in for a bad if it’s a large predator.

The shield maidens look great already. I’m looking forward to seeing them completed. (Great thread overall, by the way, not sure if I’ve commented on it before, but I like your vision!)

Small orc horde for a change of pace
Your orc aesthetic (not something you hear every day)  is amazing. They look like they marched straight off the cover of one of the MERP adventure books. Outstanding craft.

Impressions from Alladore:
What could possibly be more beautiful than the board in "Root"?  Why, tiny people looking at a tiny map in the same style. Magnificent.
