Just got this trio of lovely ladies in the post:

Should be useful for a few Weird War scenarios.

Available from Warmacre games, here:

http://www.warmacre.com/webpages/shop/shopUK.htm

Excellent service too, I only ordered them on Sunday afternoon.  :)

I have the same Warmacre figures on my Salute "maybe" list.

How do they measure up compared to Copplestone, Artizan etc?

Mary is a must for breaking into the castle......Broadsword calling Danny Boy......

Not bad, the top two are pretty good as far as compatibility go, the partizan woman at the bottom is quite slender and a bit shorter than the other companies, but since she's a girl, that doesn't really represent a problem for me.

For sticklers to detail, her machine pistol is quite short, but since I'll be using her for Weird War, it won't matter as I can claim it's an experimantal model or something.

I got one of their Major Harris figs as well, who is also nice, but a bit rougher compared to the female sculpts. Still, for the price, they make nice additions to a commando team and will serve as excellent cannon fodder.

Thanks for that. Moved from "maybe" to "buy".

No worries.  :)

The lady-figures are the best of the lot IMO, and should mix in nicely with the chunkier (more masculine?) style of Artizan/Copplestone.

Thanks to Mr. White Knight, a haul of bones landed this afternoon: a Grenadier skeletal War Rhino ; a Grenadier skeletal War Mammoth; a Verlinden 150mm skeleton which will take active service as a rather large giant skeleton; and a handful of equally skeletal samurai.
Thanks White Knight - doing this trade was a pleasure.  8)  8)  8)

Thanks to Svennn the DH Nut (you're a true gentleman, Sir), let me introduce to you le Professeur Pierre de Rosette :

He arrived at home this morning and 'm really happy with him
(I felt a bit guiltly first cause it's my most expensive mini, but nothing compare with the OOP madness on E-bay, and Svennn was very generous and very cool as I behaved childlishly   )

A few weeks ago, I recieved this too :

Don't trust what you see : IT IS NOT a DH-2, it will be a Voisin 3... one day.

It's all Plynkes'fault, and I bought it before the FFFFF madness : Biggles had already infected me.

So be careful, this man is contagious (and very inspirationnal !)

Matt

I want a Voisin 3.*

And a DH2 in drag will not do!

I don't think anyone makes them.  :(
